Course overview
After a successful 2024/25 cohort, we are excited to announce the upcoming Cardiothoracic Theatre Practitioners Masterclass Series, a comprehensive training program designed to enhance your knowledge and skills in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. This series will be held at the King's College Hospital, Denmark Hill London and led by Minija Joseph, Clinical Lead Nurse, Inpatient Theatres and Michael Whitehorne, Consultant Perfusionist, Head of Perfusion Department at King's College NHS Foundation Trust. These masterclasses offer both flexibility and depth, allowing delegates to choose specific sessions or attend the entire series, coming together with likeminded colleagues to learn and knowledge share.

Who can attend?
This event is open to all healthcare professionals involved in cardiothoracic surgery, including theatre practitioners, perfusionists, anaesthetic practitioners, scrub nurses, and clinical lead nurses. It is also beneficial for those interested in gaining specialised knowledge in cardiothoracic procedures and practices.
